Nonprofit Funding

Did you know, of the 387 billion dollars available to non-profits each year, only 3% goes to the environment and animals combined?  Most is donated to education, human services and religious institutions, which are of great value, but the lack of funding for environmental organizations goes a long way toward explaining the state of affairs in our environment.  Habitat Works seeks grant funding wherever the parameters align, but there are not always funding categories for some of our most fundamental needs.  Please consider a gift of support anytime you are celebrating; your birthday, honoring of someone or something special, the holidays, the equinox or solstice, April Fool's or Ground Hog Day.  Your contribution will directly support our vital work.

VOLUNTEER ON A PROJECT

 Although our projects are well attended, we always need new people who care about wild places, your energy, your hands and spirit, your friends and family.  Please spread the word about our work, and come out with us again, and again.

VOLUNTEER YOUR OTHER SKILLS

Can you design, write, map, catalog, record keep, maintain, source, or otherwise make happen?  We need lots of you!  Please let us know what you have to offer, and we'll be glad to find a use for your services.
