  Who We Are

HABITAT WORKS mission is to inspire passion and commitment in caring for the ecological health of Planet Earth by supporting volunteer stewardship projects in our local wildlands.

Kim Clark and Tom Persons are co-founders of Habitat Works, a 501c3 nonprofit fiscally sponsored by Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (S.E.E.).  Since 2003, Kim and Tom have engaged over 3000 volunteers on Southern California’s national forests, wildlife refuges, state parks and private preserves, contributing over 32,000 boots-on-the-ground hours to vital habitat improvements.  Kim and Tom bring extensive field experience and accomplishment to the work of public lands stewardship and habitat restoration.
